Question of the Day: Read: A short guide to social networking Write a three paragraph essay using complete sentences, proper grammar, spelling and punctuation.
I believe social can be a problem, for example facebook. Everybody and their grandmothers have a facebook. Most of the time its just to be nosy or to start a conflict. Relationships get ruined, there are cyber bullies, facebook gangsters, and so on... People use these social networking sites for the wrong reasons and honestly something needs to be done.
Social sites play a big role is today's society and takes up a lot of peoples free time. Instead of exercising or doing homework most teenagers procrastinate and get on facebook. Reality is facebook isn't a main priority. So now that teenagers make these social sites a major part of their lives a large amount of school work is either delayed or not done.
Also, not only do the social sites affect your time but they also affect the way that you write. Teenagers write with slang so much that when it comes time to write a paper they forget proper spelling and grammar. The way you practice is the way you will perform. So in-conclusion I believe social networking is a problem in today's teenage society.
